Happy Thanksgiving from the Changs

Happy thanksgiving! We are thankful for your prayers and gifts that have been helpful to Bess' stay. It has been a hard journey but God has already taught us so much. We don't think we're here by accident and can see ways that God has been preparing us for this battle with cancer and also providing for us in ways we don't expect, many times through you all. One example is we randomly switched to Kaiser for the first time this year and we're so lucky to have Lowell and Zemirah who work here constantly bless Bess. Another example is most of the time when we share prayer requests, so many people pray for her and God answers them pretty quickly. Finally, very random but there's a Target across the street from us that we've been going to for a long time so we know most people who work there. When I was picking something up for her, the pickup person was new and his name was Jesus which I thought was not coincidental at all and I felt like it was God telling me that he's here with us. God is with us and he works powerfully through prayer!

Prayer requests:

- As Lowell mentioned, the side effects of chemo like tiredness, nausea, etc are kicking in so she will have to stay in bed for a while, so please pray that she can get good rest

- Her biggest struggle is still missing Belle, so prayer around that would be great

- The biggest risk when she is on chemo is infection so please pray that God protects her body while her immune system is offline
